Botanical Ceramic Wall tile created with Daucus carota flowers (Wild carrot) a Mediterranean plant that grows in my backyard. This piece was and painted on a quiet summer evening. It is one of my very favorites, the beauty of imperfection, the exuberance of life just before the flower dries and leaves her seeds behind.
Every piece is unique, handmade with love, and full presence. The irregularities of each tile are celebrated and seen as beautiful in their imperfection.
Non-toxic oxides were used for the glaze of this piece.

The tile has a hanging hook attached on the back and it can be hanged very easily, both indoors and outdoors.
